Events in Avon, Indiana

The town of Avon, Indiana presents a popular yearly Community Heritage Festival at Washington Township Park. The event hosts a talent show, the Heritage Festival Parade, a car show, tons of food and entertainment and, of course, fireworks. Free to the public, it’s fun for the whole family during the peak of summer. Avon also produces a Heritage Festival Holiday Celebration during the winter, centered around the lighting of some 5,000 lights.

Then there’s the Hendricks County Rib-Fest, held in Avon on the weekend before Independence Day, not to mention the unending supply of ongoing events in the nearby cities, small and large.
