Avon Community Heritage Festival: Fireworks, Fun, and Games

The Avon Community Heritage Festival is a popular festival in Avon, Indiana that offers entertainment for Avon kids and adults alike every year during one long last Saturday in September. The big Avon events are the Talent Show and the Avon American Legion’s town dinner, passing out the perfect comfort food to one and all.

The Avon Community Heritage Festival is the town’s big blowout, attended not only by locals but those from nearby little towns like Brownsburg and Plainfield too, and even quite a few from the nearby metropolis of Indianapolis.

Set inside the newly developed Avon-Washington Township Park, this Indianapolis festival has everything a family could want for a long outing: games, food, entertainment, fireworks and fellowship.
