Jugheads Backyard BBQ, also known as Jugheads Pub and Grub, is located in Avon, a suburb of Indianapolis in Central Indiana. This place is one of the favorite bars in Avon, and one of the best restaurants in Avon as well. The folks at Jugheads take pride and pleasure in offering just about everything you might want in both a neighborhood bar and a family restaurant. In fact, of the multitude of excellent greater Indianapolis restaurants and bars, Jugheads is one of the most unique.

You simply won’t believe the menu at Jugheads Backyard BBQ. Starters include such intriguing succulents as BBQ Pork Nachos, Deep-Fried Spicy Pub Pickles, Hot Soft Pretzels with your choice of dipping sauce, Bottle-Neck Sweet Potato Fries and “Gut Bombs,” spicy sausage with bacon-wrapped cream cheese and jalapenos.
And that’s just for starters.
Soups at Jugheads Backyard BBQ include their house Homemade Chili, French Onion Soup and real Chicken Dumpling Soup like your Grandma used to make. Salads are likewise irresistible; try the Beef Fajita Salad, the Black and Blue Salad or something called Mama Jugheads, made with grilled shrimp. You’ve got your bone-in and boneless wings and several different delicious sauces to choose from. You’ve got your “Sammiches,” such as The Big Bad Beer Battered Burger and the Steak Rattle on Roll.
And you’ve got your everything else, from Chicken Fried Chicken to Smoked Salmon Steak to Smoked St. Louis Style Ribs. You can even choose a combo if your head is reeling too much from trying to decide.
Your “whippersnappers” have their own great menu too, and desserts will likely be the first thing they choose, be it Funnel Cake Fries, Brownie Bites or the house Cast Iron Skillet S’mores.
